Gloucester is playing host to a sparkling selection of Bonfire Night festivities, guaranteed to wow the crowds and amaze the whole family - and we've got a dazzling display of our own..a list of the best displays around town to pack out your calendar! Saturday 19th October
There's no need to wait until November, when you can enjoy sparkly skies in October, thanks to the Staunton & Corse Fireworks Display! This fabulous family-friendly display returns for 2019 with the usual BBQ, pig roast, bar, sweet treats, face paints, children's entertainer and more! Gates open at 5pm - see you there! Friday 1st November
Continuing the firework festivities, the Churchdown Firework Extravaganza! The annual firework display and funfair will return on Friday 1st November at Churchdown Park! Guests are guaranteed another bright and entertaining firework display that surpasses last year. From Catherine Wheels to Rockets, Parton Road will be ablaze with colour for the night, illuminating the sky for miles around! Gates open from 5pm with fireworks at 7:15pm. Find out more.
Saturday 2nd November
Visitors to the The Red Lion charity firework display are promised an even bigger and better show this year! With tasty bonfire night food from 5pm, the display at 6:30pm, and live music from 8pm! Ticket proceeds to the great Western Air Ambulance charity. Find out more.
Sunday 3rd November
The Longlevens Firework Display looks set to wow the local community, with a stunning show and entertainment including stalls, food and disco on the night! Tickets can be purchased from behind the bar at Longlevens RFC or on the evening, gates open at 4:30pm, with the display at 6:30pm. Find out more.
The fabulous Coney Hill Firework Display is back with a snap, crackle, fizz! Coney Hill RFC and Coney Hill Community Primary School have been working together to make this years event bigger and better, with entertainment including family-friendly fairground rides, stalls, music and lots of tasty food and refreshments! Tuesday 5th November
Remember, remember to attend the Wall's Club Barnwood Family Firework Night! Generation Events Gloucestershire have teamed up with Walls Club Barnwood and Chase Lane Fireworks the most spectacular display for the whole family, with a special sing-a-long with Princess Elsa! Gates open at 5pm and tickets are expected to sell out fast - so best to book in advance! Find out more.
The second exciting installment this Guy Fawkes Night is the Elmbridge Junior School Firework Display! With fireworks, hot food, refreshments, family-friendly fairground rides and glittering glow sticks in abundance! Gates open at 6:15pm. Find out more.
Friday 8th November
Bonfire Night at Birdlip Primary School gets better each year! The ambience is set with a huge bonfire and 'Guy' (not as morbid as it sounds) made by the children, as well as a great selection of top quality food on offer, from BBQ (not related to the Guy) to sweets and cakes! Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire a'blaze from 6:45pm and impressive firework display at 7pm. Find out more.
This year the Gordon League Fireworks Display is going to be even bigger and better! Now in its fifth year running, it makes for one of the longest running displays in Gloucestershire! Gordon League has teamed up with Major Entertainments LTD and Chase Lane Fireworks to bring you a pyromusical display set to music. With additional fairground rides, outside catering and an area set up for pictures with Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Ice Princess (Anna) and Captain America! Saturday 9th November
Along with the annual Quedgeley Fireworks Display, hosted by Quedgeley Town Council, there will be the usual hot food, warming drinks and entertainment for the whole family! Gates open at 5.30pm with the display starting at 7pm. Find out more.
