School holidays are great aren't they? Well actually they can be a bit of a nuisance if you're a working parent, as time off can be difficult. We've rounded up some school holiday clubs in Gloucester which can not just help with childcare headaches, but also break up the monotony of school holidays for kids, providing fun, entertainment and education.

Stage Coach Summer School

26th-30th July at Ribston Hall High School. Two groups available. Age 4 - 6 years and 6 - 18 years.

4-6yrs Early Stages SUMMER SCHOOL

This is the most exciting week of our calendar. During the summer holidays, send your children to us to make friends, have a fun filled morning and work towards a performance to an invited audience*

Led by Gemma and her wonderful team of passionate assistants, your children will be safe hands with our team being fully DBS & COVID-19 compliant. Together we will sing, dance and act our way to having loads of fun from 9am-12pm daily at Ribston Hall High School, Gloucester from 26th-30th July.

Spaces will be limited following the bubble rule and so early booking is very much advised. Each student will also receive a FREE Summer School 2021 t-shirt!

6-18yrs SUMMER SCHOOL

A super fun week that the whole teaching team looks forward to every year! Join us for a week of working towards an all singing, all dancing, acting extravaganza performance for an invited audience*

Led by THE BEST team of passionate teachers & assistants, your children will be safe hands with our team being fully DBS & COVID-19 compliant. Spaces will be limited following the bubble rule and so early booking is very much advised. Each student will also receive a FREE Summer School 2021 t-shirt!

Our awesome Summer School is held at Ribston Hall High School in Gloucester on 26th-30th July from 9.30am-4pm daily with drop off from 9.15am.

Camp 4-2-11

Camp 4-2-11 is a family run camp for kids ages 3-14. We open during the Easter & Summer Holidays, February & October Half Terms & Christmas Holidays, offering a creative alternative to sports-based camps. Camp 4-2-11 operates at St Edward’s Senior School, Prestbury St. Mary’s in Cheltenham, and Dinglewell School in Gloucester

We were recently rated Ofsted OUTSTANDING, and awarded BEST CHILDREN’S HOLIDAY CLUB IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE!

Camp 1 (Ages 3-6 Years)

Camp 1 is for kids aged 3-6. The children in this camp are cared for by a qualified NVQ team who specialise in early years childcare. Staff ratios vary from 1-8 and 1-10 depending on ages and needs. We understand the need for a variety of activities including REST time.

Camp 2 (Ages 7-14 Years)

We’ve extended the age range of Camp 2 to 7– 14 years. This camp has been developed to incorporate activities that are more suitable and challenging for the older children. Alongside the drama, art and craft, archery, baking and swimming we are offering a more structured sports programme which will include the option of coaching.

Week 2: Monday 9th – Friday 13th August

Week 3: Monday 16th – Friday 20th August

Times: 9.00am – 4.00pm Extra Time: 8.30am until 5.30pm

Gloucester Rugby Half Term Camp

Gloucester Rugby wil be holding three Rugby Camps during Half-Term. These will be St Thomas Rich School (Gloucester) and the Prince of Wales Stadium (Cheltenham)

The Rugby Camps skills session will focus on:

Handling – The Basic Principles
Decision Making – The Fundamentals of Game Understanding, Evasion and Attacking Play
Contact – Tackle Technique, Rucking, Mauling and Defensive Systems
Running – The Principles of Speed and Agility
Analysis – Used to Improve Game Understanding
Team Building – A Vital Element that means the difference between Victory and Defeat

Our Multi Sports Camp included rugby, basketball, dodgeball, Gaelic football and cricket just to name a few sports as well as team building activities.

Dates, venues and Costs:

• 17 & 18 Feb – Sir Thomas Rich 8–13 year olds boys and girls - £60
• 19 Feb – Sir Thomas Rich 10–18 years old girls only - £25
• 20 – 21 Feb – Prince of Wales Stadium (Cheltenham) 8–13 year olds boys and girls - £60
