The Tailor of Gloucester Mouse Trail!
A new trail celebrating the publication of Beatrix Potter’s The Tailor of Gloucester 120 years ago, will be unveiled on Gloucester’s historic Westgate Street.
Friday 20th October - Saturday 21st October, 9am - 5pm
📍 Cathedral Quarter, 21 Westgate Street or House of the Tailor Gloucester
A set of ten brass plaques depicting the tailor mice, re-drawn using the original illustrations by local artist Ella Daniel Lowe, will be hidden along the high street waiting to be discovered. Visitors will be able to pick up a trail leaflet from the Cathedral Quarter Makers Market or House of the Tailor of Gloucester Museum on 20 and 21 October to receive a prize for spotting all ten plaques.
The Mouse Trail will be a permanent installation in Westgate Street, with details available at the House of the Tailor of Gloucester in College Court.
