The Tailor of Gloucester

Sorry, there are no future dates available
Join us for a hands-on session where we’ll be looking at clothes – how they were made and mended in the past, long before fast fashion became an issue. You’re welcome to bring an item of clothing that requires repair and we’ll show you what to do.
The cloth industry was one of the great success stories in Gloucestershire’s history so you’ll have a chance to find out about that, plus you can try a weaving activity and find out about natural dyes.
This session is free, drop in, so no need to book. All materials provided and refreshments will be also available. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
