Tea and Cake River Cruise!

Take a summer cruise from the National Waterways Museum Gloucester on the historic pleasure boat Queen Boadicea II.

Sunday 30th July - 2.30pm: Sold Out
Sunday 20th August - 2.30pm
Thursday 14th September - 2.30pm

This trip is longer than the usual museum trips and will take you on a two-hour cruise along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal.

You will be served a hot drink and a bit of cake half-way through your journey. You can choose to buy a deck ticket or a saloon ticket depending on your preference.
Saloon ticket - You can relax below deck with chairs and tables. Accessible by some steep steps. You will have the chance to go out on deck. Deck ticket - enjoy the wonderful feeling of being close to the water as you glide along the Gloucester and Sharpness canal. The boat canopy will shield you if there are any showers but it is open at the sides.
You won't have a guaranteed saloon seat as space is limited although you will be able go below deck to use the toilet (accessed by some steep steps) and to have a look around.

Half way along your journey you will be offered tea or coffee and a slice of cake. Please advise when booking if you have any dietary requirements or allergies. This summer you have the chance to learn more about the history of this fascinating boat with the exhibition ‘Little Ship. Big History.’ Find out how Queen Boadicea II went from offering pleasure cruises on the Thames to becoming a Dunkirk Little Ship. The story includes a royal connection, war-time bravery and a trailblazing 1930s businesswoman. The exhibition can be found on the Quayside where you board your cruise.

Tickets:
Adults: £22
Children (4-16yrs): £15
