Showdown is a high-energy circus spectacle where six daring acrobats compete to become the "New Face of Circus." Blending jaw-dropping stunts with sharp comedy, spoken word, and a vibrant soundtrack of UK HipHop, Grime, and Afrobeat, this interactive show invites the audience to vote for their favourite contestant. As the competition intensifies, themes of ambition, sacrifice, and the meaning of success come into play, all delivered with humour and flair.

Created by Upswing’s Artistic Director Vicki Dela Amedume, comedian Athena Kugblenu, and musician Afrikan Boy, Showdown is a dynamic exploration of “healthy competition” that will keep audiences engaged and guessing.
