Come to the Dixie Dot Craft Studio and meet Josie from Cook with Josie who is running the brand new pre school cookery club!

"My aim is to teach young children the joy of cooking! By starting children in the kitchen from a young age I believe you can not only get them interested in cooking but also in trying food they may not otherwise try. My food is vegetarian, healthy and always delicious! The course runs for 5 weeks.

We will be measuring, weighing, mixing, mashing, shaping and using Kiddicutter knives (children’s safety knives) to cut our fruit and vegetables. There will be plenty of opportunity for the children to try food they may not have tried before, but obviously no pressure if they don’t want too!"

• Week 1: Cheese biscuits
• Week 2: Pizza
• Week 3: Stuffed peppers
• Week 4: Filled taco shells
• Week 5: Fruit scones

All ingredients, all equipment and use of aprons provided. Creations are made to take home and bake. Baking instructions will be sent home along with a recipe card. Class duration approximately 1 hour. Children are encouraged to help clear up afterwards!

This is a 5 week course for 3 - 4 year olds - parents do not need to stay! £20 per session totalling £100 for 5 week course/
