CHARITY PADDLE ANOUNCEMENT
We are so EXCITED to let you know about our FIRST CHARITY PADDLE OF THE YEAR!
Sunday 27th February 2022
Let us paddle for better mental health and paddling activities on the water. The last few years have been extremely challenging, with many of us realising how fragile our mental health is. Many have found paddling as a way to escape the everyday and give their mental health the head space it needs. This event is to raise money for two very important charities.
✅Mind - For Better Mental Health
✅Canal & River Trust- For Activities on the Water Project.
THE ROUTE Paddlers will be challenged to paddle the historic meandering 8 miles from the stunning Saul Junction to the heart of the Historic Gloucester City Centre.
This event welcomes all shapes and sizes of paddling craft from, canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Beginners are welcome, but must have the ability to paddle the full challenge distance.
Food and drink is provided to all finishers at the National Waterways Museum.
The entry to the event is £30 per craft with the money being divided between the charities.
