GL4 Festival in partnership with Strike A Light present Nest, by Akin Theatre. Nest is a stunning multi-sensory experience for pre-walking babies and their parents and carers.

Unfolding in a custom-built performance tent, NEST takes audiences on a journey through the seasons, using playful poetry, puppetry, song, movement and tactile and sensory play. This magical show awakens babies’ curiosity and invites adults to look afresh at the world around them.

Based on extensive research on early-years development and exploration with babies and their families, NEST was originally developed at artsdepot and premiered at Brighton Festival in 2017. In spring 2019 it toured 80 performances to 19 venues, and sold out shows across the tour.

Duration: 35 mins, age recommendation is pre-walking babies.
