Art In The City returns in 2019 to connect professional creatives, amateur artists and cultural communities to enhance the wellbeing of people in the city, though art exhibitions, installations, and competitions, including the return of the successful Plein Air competition and much more!

Art In The City has a host of venues on all the gate streets and more involved, providing the perfect opportunity for local and national artists to exhibit their art and get involved in Gloucester’s art festival!

The venues range from small cafes and bars to large function rooms and churches, so we can host a whole array of different artists. The exhibitions will open on the 20th July and the duration of each exhibition will be venue dependant. The weekend is packed full of free exhibitions, workshops, arts and crafts markets, competitions with great prizes to be won and much more!
