Elmore Festival 2026

Next dates

Tucked away on the banks of the River Severn, in one of Gloucestershire’s most beautiful villages, Elmore Festival returns from 5 – 8 August 2026 for four unforgettable days of music, community, and celebration.

Now in its seventh year, the festival has earned a reputation as one of the South West’s most distinctive musical events, bringing world-class artists to the remarkable setting of St John the Baptist Church. With its soaring medieval architecture, intimate atmosphere, and exceptional acoustics, the church provides the perfect backdrop for a programme that combines internationally renowned performers with exciting emerging talent.

This year’s festival welcomes an outstanding lineup of artists, including the internationally acclaimed Trio Kagura, the award-winning Talland Quartet, double bassist Toby Hughes, pianists Victor Lim and Kanako Mizuno, clarinettist James Gilbert, organist Timothy Stewart, accordionist Alise Siliņa, and vocalist Immy Churchill with Scottie Thomson’s Jazz Trio.

Alongside its concerts, Elmore Festival remains deeply committed to inspiring the next generation of musicians. Workshops, masterclasses, and performance opportunities bring local schoolchildren together with professional artists, while free tickets for under-25s ensure that young people can experience live classical music at the highest level.

A visit to Elmore Festival is about more than the music. Between concerts, audiences can relax at the Festival Bar, enjoying local ciders and cask ales supplied by Gloucestershire favourites including the award-winning Pelican Inn, Wye Valley Brewery, and Uley Brewery. The warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and chance to meet performers and fellow music lovers are all part of what makes the festival so special.

Whether you are a dedicated concertgoer or simply looking for a memorable summer experience, Elmore Festival offers a rare opportunity to hear exceptional music in an extraordinary setting. Join us this August and discover why so many audience members return year after year.
